This has definitely been a week of survival!!
I am in the second half of my paralegal course and it is totally kicking my butt!! I have so many moments of wanting to quit this week while trying to get my homework done. I was having a really hard time understanding and figuring out what I was supposed to be doing. Thankfully, I have a loving husband who tells me not to quit because I am smart enough to figure this out. My mom was on the end of one of my mini-breakdowns yesterday and she was (of course) just as supportive and encouraging as Eric. So, with their help and support I was able to pull myself through the mounds of homework and make it through the week!!
Eric has survived his first week working for the city of Tukwila, which really wasn't all that hard at all. He's had a good week full of training and orientation and it ready to get into the "meat and potatoes" of the position. I had the opportunity to meet most of his coworkers today and found out that they love working with him. That really is no surprise to me since I know that he is amazing and is able to get along with anyone and everyone.
The most important survival story of the week has to do with both of us. With Eric's new job we have limited contact during the day. Ever since we started dating we have been able to talk to each other all day online....now not so much! It's been hard, but we are learning how to survive without each other all day long! (It's probably harder for me since I am home all day by myself)
Yay for surviving!!

I second that, "Yay for surviving!!" I know that you can do it. Just keep thinking about that once that moment is over it is gone. I am sure thing will come of all of this. Then you can look back and say, that is why I went through that.
ReplyDeleteGood job powering through a tough week. Happy that Eric's job had a good start.
